What your Standing unlocks

What the Standing measures

Trustworthiness, in three dimensions.

The Standing is not a credit score. It is a record of trustworthiness inside the contexts where it matters — Members coordinating money together. Following Mayer, Davis & Schoorman (1995), trust rests on three pillars:

AbilityDo you show up?

Contribution consistency, repayment follow-through, dependable presence in cycle commitments. The competence dimension — can the circle count on you to do what you've agreed?

BenevolenceDo you look out for the circle when it matters?

Standing during hardship for others, helping with handoffs and replacements, peer endorsements that reflect care beyond contractual minimums. The care dimension — do you see your circle's interests as your own?

IntegrityDo you hold to the bylaws and the spirit of the agreement?

Governance participation, transparent handling of conflicts, accepting legitimate outcomes including ones that go against you. The principle dimension — are your actions consistent with what was agreed?

The composite breakdown below distils these pillars into four measurable factors. Read the numbers, but read them as evidence of trustworthiness inside circles, not as a rank or a verdict. The Standing never gates participation; it informs the Members and circles who consider you.

What goes into the number

Your Standing is informational only. Circlworld never uses it to block, restrict, or limit your actions. Circles you apply to join can see it; they decide whether to admit you based on their own bylaws.
