Circlworld

Your congregation's generosity already builds community. Now it builds their future.

We help churches and faith communities formalise the savings traditions their congregations already practise — creating verified financial histories, stewarding community funds with professional governance, and opening pathways to financial wellbeing.

The gap

Every Sunday

your members give

Tithes, offerings, benevolence contributions, and informal pardna among members. A culture of mutual support that is the heartbeat of your community.

No record

of the financial discipline your members demonstrate through years of faithful giving

A church member who has faithfully contributed to a savings circle for five years has nothing to show for it when they walk into a bank. Their generosity builds your ministry but not their credit history.

0

pathways from your congregation's savings culture into formal financial wellbeing

The same traditions your congregation already practises remain unrecorded — and unrecognised — by the formal financial system. The doors that should be open stay closed.

Consider Sister Margaret, who has led a pardna in your congregation for a decade. She has helped 20 families buy school uniforms and weather emergencies. She has never missed a contribution. Yet when her roof needed repair, she was denied a bank loan — assessed as having no savings history. Circlworld would have made her ten years of faithfulness visible and actionable.

Why this matters now

Financial pressure on families is increasing. The tools to help your members exist now.

Your pastoral team sees it every week — members struggling with bills, unable to access affordable credit, turned away by banks that see thin files instead of faithful savers. The tools to change this exist now.

The community trust your congregation has built over years is the foundation. We provide the infrastructure to convert that trust into tangible financial outcomes. The question is not if you can help your members, but when you will start.

Stewardship, not commercialisation

Financial wellbeing as pastoral care.

Circlworld does not turn your church into a bank or your congregation into customers. This platform recognises that financial wellbeing is a form of pastoral care. When a family can access affordable credit, avoid predatory lenders, and build a savings record, their stress is reduced. Their dignity is preserved.

This is a tool for that care — a tangible expression of loving your neighbour by helping them build a stable future.

Not a new programme

A digital formalisation of what your congregation already practises.

Leadership: your church provides the pastoral framework. The members govern their own financial affairs. Ownership: members own their records. The church stewards the process — consistent with your fiduciary calling.

This is not a programme to administer. It is a platform that formalises the savings behaviour your members already practise, giving them a verified financial identity built from their own faithfulness and consistency.

The platform

Your deacons or lay leaders become qualified Treasurers managing savings circles within your congregation. Contributions flow through congregants’ own bank accounts — your church never holds, sees, or controls savings.

Your church becomes a gateway to financial inclusion for members who may be underserved by traditional banking. Stewardship moves from a system of honour to a system of accountability — without losing the spirit of mutual care.

  • Deacons and lay leaders operate as qualified, compensated Treasurers
  • Savings circles operate alongside fellowship and small-group structures
  • Financial Reliability Record (FRR)™ built from verified savings behaviour
  • Self-sustaining benevolence through circle lending pools
  • Treasurer residual income — retain personally, donate back, or designate to ministry
  • Member privacy by design — individual finances never visible to leadership
  • Dispute resolution built into the platform
  • AI-powered member guidance through Circa™, the conversational host
  • Aggregate-only church dashboard — circle health by participation, not finance
  • Board-ready reporting for trustees and elders

How it works

Your deacons or lay leaders become qualified Treasurers.

We train your designated leaders through the Treasurer certification. They learn to form circles, manage cycles, and provide governance with the same integrity they bring to every other ministry role. This is not a commission on member savings — it is fair compensation for professional administrative work the church would otherwise fund or expect volunteers to do for free.

Your staff become qualified Treasurers — each gets Circa as their AI guide and Cora as their operations partner. Every morning, Cora briefs them on their circles. Your staff spend 10 minutes on circle management, not an hour.

Your congregants form circles and contribute.

Members form groups of 8–20 within your fellowship. Contributions are managed through their own bank accounts. Every contribution builds their FRR — a verified testament to their financial faithfulness.

Your church sees the impact.

Your dashboard shows aggregate engagement — how many participate, how many circles are active, overall savings consistency. You see the health of the ministry without seeing individual balances. Exportable reports for your church board.

Ministry outcomes

How you measure success in pastoral terms.

  • Freedom from crisis: a measurable decrease in congregants presenting to pastoral care with financial emergencies
  • Empowered lay leadership: deacons and Treasurers equipped with professional, certified governance
  • Self-sustaining benevolence: lending pool grows as loans are repaid and recycled — more families helped without increasing budget
  • Financial inclusion: members who successfully accessed formal credit using their FRR
  • Community cohesion: savings circles creating small groups that meet around shared purpose beyond Sunday service
  • Congregational engagement: participation rates in circle activity across the fellowship

Value flows to your church

  • Financial wellbeing: 120 congregants with verified FRRs — portable credit credentials built from their own savings discipline.
  • Benevolence sustainability: Lending pools fund emergency assistance that is repaid and recycled. The same pool helps multiple families across multiple years.
  • Treasurer ministry: Your leaders earn through the Treasurer Partnership Programme — a residual on premium subscriptions from the circles they manage. The more members they govern well, the more they earn. The residual can be retained personally, contributed to the church fund, or designated to a specific ministry at their discretion.
  • Community resilience: Congregants with savings histories are better equipped to weather hardship — reducing the pastoral burden on your leadership team.

No implementation fee. No upfront capital requirement.

A standard platform fee of 1.5% applies to each payout. The 1.5% is small and transparent. Many groups already collect a small contribution for a 'box' or 'kitty' to cover administrative costs. This replaces that with a digital, auditable, professional process.

Partnership onboarding

90-day Discovery Phase.

We propose a 90-day Discovery Phase to build the partnership with real participants and real data. This is not a test — it is the first stage of a strategic relationship. We onboard together and build the evidence base your church board needs to expand with confidence.

  • 3–5 circles formed within your existing community
  • 2–3 staff or lay leaders qualified as Treasurers
  • Accounts or fund management provisioned within your existing infrastructure
  • Partner dashboard configured for your church's management team
  • Contribution cycles running for the full 90-day period
  • Benevolence lending pool activated in one circle with pastoral oversight (optional)

At the end of 90 days, your board has real data: actual participation, actual FRRs, actual outcomes. For members who are unbanked, your partner credit union or financial institution can open an account as part of the onboarding process, ensuring no one in your congregation is excluded.

No long-term contract. No commitment beyond the Discovery Phase. If the results do not meet your ministry's expectations, both parties walk away.

The member experience

Your members get a modern savings platform rooted in a tradition they already trust. Circles coordinate their contributions. Standing™ scores reward consistency. Circa, the AI conversational guide, answers their questions and helps them understand their financial position. Their savings history becomes a verified credential — an FRR that means something when they apply for credit, housing, or sponsorship outside the church.

A standard platform fee of 1.5% applies to each payout — covering governance infrastructure, record-keeping, credit scoring, dispute resolution, and AI assistance. No monthly subscription is required. Your members pay only when they receive their hand, and what they receive in return is a verified financial history that no informal pardna can provide.

They are not learning a new financial product. They are doing what they have always done — with a platform that finally makes it visible and valuable.

Partnership

Strategic outcomes for your church.

There is no licence fee. No setup cost. Your pastoral team qualifies as Treasurers and operates them as part of your existing fellowship structures.

The benefit to your ministry is structural — fewer crisis interventions, deeper small-group community, a self-sustaining benevolence model, and members whose financial discipline is finally visible to the institutions they need to deal with.

Stewardship over informal trust

Your members' savings activity is recorded, governed, and protected with professional oversight. Moving from a system of honour to a system of accountability — without losing the spirit of mutual care.

Financial wellbeing

Members build FRRs from their circle participation. Financial counselling references real data. Applications for credit are supported by verified savings history. Families access opportunity, not just charity.

Community depth

Savings circles create structured, ongoing small-group interaction beyond Sunday services. Fellowship deepens through shared financial commitment. Members invest in each other's futures, not just each other's present needs.

Benevolence that sustains and multiplies

Circle lending pools fund emergency assistance for members in crisis. Unlike one-time benevolence gifts, pool-funded support is repaid and recycled — the same funds help the next family. Compassion that sustains itself, and multiplies.

Safeguards and data protection

Your members' financial data is theirs alone.

Member privacy is a pastoral commitment as much as a regulatory one. Your church never sees individual member balances, contributions, or Standing scores — only aggregate engagement metrics that tell you the ministry is healthy without compromising anyone’s dignity.

  1. Individual member balances, contributions, and Standing scores are confidential — not visible to pastoral staff or church leadership.
  2. Your church sees aggregate circle health only — participation counts and engagement, not individual finances.
  3. Members manage their own accounts through their own bank — the church never holds, sees, or controls savings.
  4. Circlworld manages member data under its own privacy policy and applicable data protection law.
  5. Participation is entirely voluntary — no pressure, no obligation, no spiritual conditionality.
  6. A member can withdraw at any time without affecting their standing in the congregation.
  7. The FRR belongs to the member — the church cannot access, view, or share it.
  8. Member data is never sold, shared, or monetised under any circumstances.

Built with pastoral values. Member financial data is confidential.
